Honey Lime Baked Chicken
Happy Friday Y'all! I have a delicious dinner idea for you! Its Honey Lime Baked Chicken. It's easy, and best of all, it takes only a few ingredients!
You'll need:
4 large Chicken Breasts
1/2 cup of honey
1 bunch of cilantro, washed
1/2 cup lime juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Extra limes and honey to drizzle
Add the honey, lime juice, cilantro, and salt together in a plastic bag, or in a bowl covered in plastic wrap. Let it marinate for at least an hour. I like to put mine in the fridge overnight, or earlier in the morning! The longer it marinates, the better!
My silly girls helped me juice the limes. Yes, that is a Toy they are using! Haha!
Place the marinated chicken breasts into a baking dish, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, then flip over, drizzle with extra honey and lime, then bake for another 20 minutes. Then broil for about 3 minutes, until the top gets a pretty golden color! I like to serve this Honey Lime Baked Chicken with avocado, lime wedges, Mexican cheese, and sliced tomatoes. It's healthy, and my little family loves it!
If you have any leftover, it's wonderful served in a tortilla, or on top of a salad for lunch the next day! Enjoy!
