Birthday Cookies

My sweet little three year old is now a four year old, and I just can't get over how big she is getting! I love seeing this little girl exploring the world and laughing her way from one journey to the next. My favorite thing about her, is how quick she is to crack a smile! She's also picked up her dad's love to make others laugh around her, so naturally, she couldn't wait to make her class mates smile with a birthday treat! This is Nana's recipe and also one of my favorites. No surprise there!

These cookies combine the fun of sprinkles with my love for chocolate. Whats not to love and eat every last cookie on the tray? I wish I could have anyways, but we ended up sharing them. They were a big hit in her class and easy to make!

Ingredients

1/2 C Butter

1/3 C Brown Sugar

1/2 C White Sugar

1 Egg

2 tsp. Vanilla Extract

1 1/2 C Flour

1 tsp. Baking Soda

1/2 tsp. Corn Starch

1/4 tsp. Salt

1- 1 & 1/2 C White Chocolate Chips

1/2 C Sprinkles

*Additional sprinkles on top of each cookie before baking.

First cream the butter and sugar. Then add in your egg and vanilla extract.

Next mix in the flour, baking soda, salt and corn starch.

Now the fun stuff, white chocolate chips and sprinkles! We just love sprinkles and try to enjoy them as much as we can!

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-11 minutes.

These were a big hit with her class and why wouldn’t they be? You get the delight of chocolate and sprinkles in one cookie, it’s like rolling two of the best cookies together in one.

Enjoy these birthday cookies, even if it’s no ones birthday! They are too yummy to not to. Make everyday a holiday!
