Disney Princess Pley Box Merida and Bear Paw Cookies
Here at Hungry Holidays we love to try and make everyday a holiday! Introducing the Disney Princess Pley Box! This was so much fun! It was our first time buying something like this. I'm so happy we did! We enjoyed it so much! It is Disney themed, which makes it even better! Oh my goodness, we love Disney! P.S I bought these boxes with my own money. I'm not being paid to write this post, I just ❤️this product!
Spoiler Alert... This box featured Princess Merida!
The girls were thrilled to see Merida was the featured Princess in this Pley Box! It was exciting for the girls because Merida is one of the lesser known Princesses. The Box was full of goodies! Each Pley box had a cute purple Merida t-shirt. When you order your Pley Box, you give them your Childs shirt size! There were also the toy figurines, from the movie Brave. They go great with the Tangled figures the girls received in the last Princess Pley Box we ordered! There was also a pencil bag, and a cute plastic crayon box!
This Pley Box comes with a colorful book, that had this wonderful recipe in it for Chocolate Bear Paw Cookies! The girlies and I enjoyed baking these together! Here's our version of these fun Cookies...
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened
6 ounces of semi sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cup sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Slivered almonds
Melt the chocolate and butter in a dish in the microwave.
In a separate bowl whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
In Your mixing bowl blend together the eggs, sugar, and vanilla, for about 3 minutes. Then add in the semi-cooled chocolate, blend again until incorporated.
Now stir the flour mixture into the chocolate mixture, when it's evenly mixed, cover the
bowl with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 3 hours.
Use your hands to roll out 2 inch balls of cookie dough, and Set on a nonstick mat lined cookie sheet. Now use the side of your fist to make a paw shape. Now insert 5 slivered almonds in each cookie for claws.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
The girlies were beyond excited to get their boxes delivered to our house, with their names on them! Getting the Pley Box is like a Holiday in itself! Its like a special surprise for your little one in the mail. If you're needing a sweet gift for your little one, this is it! They will be so delighted!
