Shrimp Mushroom and Spinach Alfredo

Shrimp Mushroom and Spinach Alfredo is on the Menu tonight! My goodness it was so nice preparing a dinner that my husband and I love. The last time I made a dinner with shrimp, it grossed our girls out so badly, it gave them the shivers, haha! They can be a little overly dramatic! Needless to say, I'm not able to cook much seafood. But tonight I made a delicious pot of this shrimp pasta dish! Y'all are going to love it! As long as you are not allergic to shellfish, or are a 4 or 6 year old, haha!

1 stick of butter

3 cups of Spinach

1 pound of shrimp, shelled, deveined, and tails off

1 block of cream cheese

2 cups whole milk

1 Cup mozzarella cheese

1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning

1to 2 tablespoons flour

1 1/2 cups of Mushrooms

1 pound of Pasta of choice

salt and pepper to taste

green onion as garnish, optional

Boil your pasta in a pot until al dente, while you make the Alfredo. Then drain and set aside.

In a pan melt the butter, add in the flour, and stir into a paste.

Then add in the milk. Stir until it's creamy, without lumps.

Add in the cream cheese,Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, stir until its melted.

Now stir in the shrimp, spinach and mushrooms, once they are softened, stir in the mozzarella cheese.

Its finished! Pour over your pasta, and serve with a side salad! You can also garnish it with a sprinkle of green onions, and some extra seasoning. It's a delicious fancy dinner, without the work!
