Its so delicious, and something different than our usual Pumpkin Sweet Bread, but just as Yummy! You will love the swirls of Cinnamon in each slice! We serve ours with Cinnamon Butter.

Here's what you need...

Bread Ingredients:

2 cups Whole wheat flour

5 1/2 cups White flour

2 cups of quick-cooking oats

1 cup Brown Sugar

2 1/2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

2 teaspoons of sugar

1 1/2 tablespoon of active dry yeast

1 1/2 cups of warm water

1 cup of canned pumpkin

1/3 cup apple sauce

1/3 cup canola oil

2 eggs

Filling Ingredients:

1/4 cup butter

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Prepare the active dry yeast, by mixing it with the 1 1/2 cups of water and 2 teaspoons of sugar.

1. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, oats, brown sugar, pumpkin, applesauce and oil just until moistened. Add eggs; beat until smooth.Stir in enough remaining all-purpose flour to form a firm dough. I like to mix the dough mixture into my kitchen Aid using my dough attachment.

2. Turn onto a lightly floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, turning one to grease the top. Cover with tea towel and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.

3.Punch dough down. Turn onto a lightly floured surface; divide in half. Roll each portion into an 18 inch

by 9 inch rectangle; brush with butter to within 1/2 inch of edges. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over dough. Roll up jelly-roll style, starting with a short side; pinch seam to seal.

4. Place seam side down in two greased 9-inch x 5inch. loaf pans. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.

5. Bake at 350 degrees for 55-65 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire rack.

This recipe was really easy. The hardest part was the waiting for it to rise, but well worth it!! My family loved this yummy fall bread! This bread would be wonderful gifts for friends and Neighbors. I would probably make it into smaller loaf pans. I hope you are enjoying this wonderful fall season.I know we are! My husband has grown a pumpkin patch in our back yard, and the grand babies can't wait to pick them! They have already claimed which pumpkin is their's. Fall is one of my favorite seasons! It's the beginning of all the wonderful holidays to come. Let me know how your family loves this wonderful Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirly yeast bread?
