Firecracker Chicken
Whenever summer rolls around, this dish makes it to our plates almost once a week. We seriously love it! So why not serve it up for your 4th? The sweetness combined with the spice will give your tastebuds a shout for joy! That's why we call it fire cracker chicken, the spice is kickin'!
MARINADE:
-1/2 cup brown sugar
-1/2 cup ketchup
-1/2 cup Franks Hot Sauce (their buffalo isn't as spicy, original is a little more spicy)
-3 TBS water
-McCormick Steak Seasoning
Mix your sugar, ketchup, hot sauce and water together. Pour over chicken and add your seasonings.
Marinate for 4 hours or overnight.
We grilled it and made chicken sandwiches, but it would taste great by itself!
If you are making chicken sandwiches, make lots of extra marinade to use as sauce!
